Over the summer of 2016/17 I was living in a flat on the fringe of Auckland CBD where two old shops had been converted into a living environment. I founded Eileen’s Collective with Eli Lochore-Ward, using the old shop windows as an art gallery for emerging artists and the living room as an event space. We coordinated a number of events including a gig where four acts performed, a comedy show, a showing of the film The Room, a creative writing workshop and a wine tasting.
