Project: Salton Sea Fishbeast Kite, 2020

A kite designed for and flown at a festival in the desert in California next to salvation mountain. A giant inflatable red fish beast, inspired by the dramatic and mythical atmosphere of the Salton Sea, where the desert meets a large lake of farmwater runoff, is blown up through a tertrahedral kite made from mylar and paper straws.
