Workshop #59 was a project commissioned by Auckland City Council to engage and rethink carparks in the Auckland CBD. Eli Lochore-Ward and I found old and quirky furniture, deconstructed it and developed new (and somewhat bizarre) street furniture. Wiliam Brooks helped in the completion of the furniture and Sam Aislabie then produced a series of small scale components which we invited members of the public to use to build small vignettes that might provide inspiration for future street furniture possibilities.
