Project: Tool Bra, 2017

Tool-Bra was a response to a gendered object workshop with architect, writer and academic Harriet Harris. The idea was to consider the gendered nature of objects and find a way to subvert these through combination. A bra, and a pair of ‘men’s’ cut up boxers come together to create ‘tool’ storage. It brings into consideration the gendered value of our clothes, in particular our pockets, so often lacking or inadequate in ‘women’s’ clothing.
